It really depends on the car and how many peeps are bidding toward the end of the auction. I’ve bid on a lot of cars on BaT and bought once. Mine was NP all day even after shipping.

If there are 4 or 5 bidders  in the final hour I can see 20k.

I always look at the bidders history. All but two of those bidders were first timers. One of those two has bid seriously, but the other is one of those “bid for entertainment types” bids early, low, and only once or twice but on dozens of cars. I will never understand that.
